Fund Objective:
To provide long-term capital growth by investing in Shari'ah Compliant equities listed on Asia or Pacific based stock markets.

Investment Policy:
The Fund will pursue its Objective through the active management of portfolio of Shari'ah Compliant.

Fund Manager's Comments:
Market sentiment continued to recover on the back of positive economic news flow and corporate activities from the US and Euro zone. The MSCI Islamic Asia Pacific ex Japan index increased 6.3% during the month. China raised policy rates and the required reserves ratio, though this had limited impact on the equity market. The best performing sectors in the region during this month were Industrials, Telcos and Consumer Discretionary, while the underperformers were Energy, Health Care and Financials. In terms of countries, Singapore, Indonesia and Taiwan outperformed, while India, Philippines and China underperformed.
