Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, in step with its ‘Let’s Do More’ vision and innovation reflecting the latest technological trends in banking, has launched a mobile application showcasing the bank’s new offers, promotions and developments in products and services. Unleashing an innovative concept aimed at adding value and enhancing the banking experience, the Offers App is targeted to benefit all Bank Muscat cardholders.
The App opens a whole new world of convenience for Bank Muscat cardholders. The key features of the App include the latest promotions and discount offers available for Bank Muscat cardholders across merchant outlets, malls and hotels.
The latest offers on the bank’s products can be redeemed at merchant outlets on the use of Bank Muscat debit or credit cards. The App has a very user friendly interface to locate the merchant locations wherein the offers are available.
The Bank Muscat Offers App checks for the customer’s mobile GPS location and the merchant outlet distance from location will be displayed to customers who can accordingly choose the closest location to avail the offer.
The offers are grouped in categories such as beauty and care, zero per cent installment scheme, dining, entertainment, health and wellness, hotels, jewellery, leisure and entertainment, so that customers can easily browse through relevant offers. The App notifications will be sent to registered customers who can keep themselves updated with the latest bank offerings. The Bank Muscat Offers App can be downloaded free from Apple Store, Google Play Store, Windows Store or Blackberry World in both English and Arabic.
For asalah Priority banking customers, the App lists airport lounges available to them. They can also use the App to book appointments with asalah relationship managers. The App is also equipped with a locator featuring Bank Muscat ATM/CDM and branches.
The App has also introduced a service to apply for Bank Muscat products. The facility lists various options available for customers to apply for Bank Muscat products and services. When customers apply for any product, they will be contacted by authorised bank staff to brief them on the product.
The App has a unique facility to refer a friend. Customers can refer the mobile application to other users by sharing their email ID or on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+. When a customer refers a friend, a referral code will be sent along with the App link. When the App is installed on the referred mobile device, the user will be asked to enter the referral code. When the referral code is used by the user, the sender will earn reward points.
