Al-Ahsa Gov. Prince Badr bin Muhammad bin Jelawi awarded Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) for its support to Al-Ahsa’s first Shopping and Entertainment Festival, held under the patronage of the Al-Ahsa governor.
Mohammed bin Hussein Alassaf, marketing communication director, STC group, received the honorary award on behalf of STC from Prince Badr, who sponsored the festival.
STC has assured its continued participation through sponsorship in events that support the local economy.
Through its sponsorship programs, STC has been supporting a number of activities and events for the benefit of local people. It also aims to attract more visitors to the event from different parts of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states, as well as encourage interactive activities throughout the “Summer of the East” program.
STC’s sponsorship of the Al-Ahsa festival is part of its social responsibility program, in accordance with its comprehensive plans to enhance community members to benefit from the various services and tourist programs directed at different segments of society. STC supports entertainment and shopping events that contribute to development of the local economy, in line with the company’s vision.
Al-Ahsa is considered one of the most promising areas in terms of tourism and investment. Due to its unique location and population, it attracts visitors from different regions of the Kingdom and the Gulf states.
Kuwait inflation plunges to nine-year low
