Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), conducted a business lunch with Jack Dorsey, founder and chairman of Twitter, and Suhail Rizvi, an investor in Twitter, at The Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris.
During the meeting, the two discussed the latest technical, financial and organizational developments in Twitter.
Prince Alwaleed and KHC’s “strategic investment” in Twitter has increased from $300 million to approximately $1.2 billion since Twitter’s IPO.
The meeting was also attended by Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed, Naief Alzuhair, website and social media manager, corporate communications department, and Fahad bin Saad bin Nafel, executive assistant to the chairman.
Founded in 1980, KHC became publicly traded and listed on Tadawul (the Saudi stock exchange) in 2007.
KHC is one of the world’s most successful and diversified business organizations, highly respected in investments and recognized as an elite player in the Gulf region and internationally. The company is recognized as one of the largest foreign investors in the United States.
