Batelco Group Chief Executive Shaikh Mohamed Bin Isa Al Khalifa was in attendance for the prize presentation following the final of H.M. King Hamad's 4th Golf Trophy which took place at The Royal Golf Club, Riffa, from November 24 to 26.
Bahrain's leading Telecommunications Company, Batelco, earlier announced its financial support for the event, organised by the Bahrain Golf Association. Over 100 players from a number of regions including Bahrain, the GCC and Europe took part in the annual event, which was hailed as a huge success.
Batelco's Group Chief Executive praised the organisers for their efforts in running the tournament which does much to promote golf in the Kingdom.
Batelco Group GM Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi said that Batelco was very pleased to help contribute to the success of the event.
"The event serves to promote Bahrain as a sporting and tourism destination with facilities that compare to the best the world has to offer. The Montgomery designed course at Riffa is among the leading courses in the region and reflects the high standards that the Kingdom strives to uphold," he added.
