The session was marked by choppy trading in regional markets amid lingering uncertainty over the European debt crisis.
China’s Shanghai Composite Index (CN:000001) and Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 Index (AU:XJO) dropped 0.7% each, while Taiwan’s Taiex gave up 0.8%.
