Luxury Real Estate developer DAMAC Properties has been presented with the ‘world’s best’ award during the international property awards industry conference.
The company’s iconic tower, DAMAC Heights – which is currently at level 47 in the Dubai Marina district – was singled out as having the ‘Best International Residential High-rise Architecture’ at the International Property Awards. DAMAC Esclusiva, the luxury tower on King Fahd road in Riyadh was ‘Highly Commended’ for best interior design in Saudi Arabia.
It is the second year in a row that one of DAMAC Properties’ projects took the number one global title, after its AKOYA by DAMAC master development, was named ‘world’s’ best golf development’ during a ceremony in London last December.
At the VIP event at the Madinat Jumeirah, DAMAC Properties received one of the biggest hauls of trophies during the night, collecting 14 awards in total, including three 5* awards, which recognize the very best projects across Arabia. DAMAC Properties was recognized for the ‘Best Golf Course’ in Dubai for its Trump International Golf Club, Dubai, and for the high quality and ease of use of its website, www.damacproperties.com.
“The International Property Awards are the litmus test for the highest quality and most luxurious projects around the world and therefore it’s a great privilege to receive the top award for a second year in a row,” said Niall McLoughlin, Senior Vice President, DAMAC Properties. “As a company we always strive to bring new and iconic design elements to every project we undertake – design which not only looks stunning, but also is practical and efficient.” Construction on DAMAC Heights has currently reached the 47th floor, with the full tower topping out at 86 floors when it is completed in 2016. The iconic tower includes DAMAC Residenze, a selection of unique units with interiors by the Italian fashion house, FENDI Casa. Set on the top 40 floors of the tower, the opulent living areas will look out over both the Palm Jumeirah and out across the Dubai Marina.
