If you are a frequent user of Dubai's public transport system, then Emirates NBD's Go4it Visa gold debit card could be for you.
The debit card, launched in collaboration with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), is the first of its kind in the region and can be used for making payments on the RTA's transit network and at parking meters.
The debit card was released following the success of Emirate NBD's Go4it credit card, which was launched last November. Existing customers using the Go4it credit cards can convert to the new debit card.
Users of the debit card will receive additional benefits that include discounted Vox cinema tickets as well as free ferry rides from Al Ghubaiba station to Burj Al Arab.
"The "Go4it" Gold Debit Card gives RTA customers added value and a great way to pay for the use of the services by swiping the card at payment points across the transport network," says Mohammed Al Mudharrab, the director of automated fare collection at the RTA.
