Dubai Financial Market announced on Tuesday that shares of new 3 listed public joint stock companies will be added to its general index (DFMGI) and to sector indexes as of Tuesday April 28th 2009.The number of companies listed in index increased to 32 companies. The new additions includes; Drake and Scull international, Dartakaful - Takaful House, and Takaful Emarat.
DSI shares has been added to DFM general index and real estate index. The outstanding shares for DSI is 2.178 billion shares, while the percentage of free float shares is 75 per cent, and number of shares embedded in the index sample is 1.633 billion shares.
Dartakaful - Takaful House shares has been added to DFM general index and insurance index. The outstanding shares for the company is 100 million shares, while the percentage of free float shares is 75 per cent, and number of shares embedded in the index sample is 75 million shares. Takaful Emarat shares has been added to DFM general index and insurance index. The outstanding shares for Takaful Emarat is 150 million shares, while the percentage of free float shares is 75 per cent, and number of shares embedded in the index sample is 112.5 million shares.
The market capitalisation for the three new additions represents 0.91 per cent of total market capitalization for the companies embedded in the index.
DFM Index Declines Slightly
The DFM General Index spending most of the session in the red zone closed the day at 2,379.49 points on Tuesday 18th June 2013. The index trimmed 3.32 points or 0.14 percent for the session.
QE Index Turned Red as Key Sectors Decline
The Qatar Exchange turned red on Tuesday 18th June 2013. The Index continued stepping its way lower in the red territory, dropping 68.65 points or 0.73 percent it reached at 9,361.05 levels.
Large Cap Drives ADX Index Higher
