Emirates NBD is sponsoring the Higher Colleges of Technology-Dubai, Women's Campus (HCT-Dubai), students to attend CBL International China Business School in the summer time. By signing such agreement Emirates NBD involved itself further with the academic programmes organized by CBL International and HCT-Dubai for students abroad.
"As the biggest bank in the region we are very much emphasising the importance of education as part of our bank's mission, to support our own community. We are more than happy to share our expertise with delegates from the region and all over the world to give them a deep insight into the banking sector of Dubai and beyond", explained Ibrahim Sowaidan, Head of Communications with Emirates NBD.
Since more than 4 years CBL International is offering together with HCT-Dubai business and law courses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for students and executives from abroad. "As a globally operating provider of excellent education abroad it is CBL International's great pleasure to introduce Dubai as the business hub in the Middle East. We are always partnering with the best corporations from various industries and therefore very much welcome Emirates NBD's contribution to our worldwide network", said Philip Hockerts, Chief Operating Office with CBL International.
"We are delighted that HCT-Dubai students are participating in CBL International China Business School with the support of Emirates NBD. By such opportunity to experience other business cultures we are educating global citizens, which is essential for places such as Dubai. We hope that the support by EmiratesNBD is a milestone to kick off other companies to also support more HCT-Dubai students to study abroad", added Jamie Stewart, Dean of Business, Education, and Learning at HCT-Dubai.
