The General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI), the global umbrella of Islamic financial institutions, has announced its confirmed speakers for the CIBAFI Global Forum next week.
The forum, themed Rethinking Values for Sustainable Growth, will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.
The forum, which is held under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain, will gather the superior notch of industry experts and professionals to provide crucial insights to support the Islamic finance industry’s organic growth, covering various current and future perspectives of the global macroeconomic conditions that have significant influence over the future course of the industry.
The global event is organised in partnership with Economic Development Board and with support from Islamic Development Bank.
Al Baraka Banking Group and Jordan Islamic Bank are supporting the event as regional Islamic banking partners, Islamic International Arab Bank is hosting the official luncheon and Path Solutions is supporting the forum as Islamic banking technology partner.
The forum will consist of the following sessions: Macroeconomic Outlook, Regulatory Development, Strategic Risk and Sustainability; Global Trends in Social Responsibility – Strategies for IFIs to Drive Long-Term Value Creation and Performance; Key Areas of Business Innovation to Achieve ‘Good Growth’ – Unlocking Potential of Islamic Finance; CIBAFI Breakfast session with a special address on the value of values: whither Islamic Finance?; Frontier Markets Dialogue and Special Session on Fintech and Digital Financial Services.
