French Industrial Output Stable In June

France's industrial production remained unchanged from the previous month in June, data released by statistical office Insee showed Friday.

Industrial production remained flat month-on-month in June, after falling a revised 2.1 percent in May. Economists were looking for a 0.1 percent increase.

Production in the manufacture sector edged up 0.1 percent sequentially during the month, while economists expected output to remain flat. In May, factory output had deceased 1.1 percent.

Production in mining and quarrying and energy, water supply and waste management was 0.7 percent higher compared to the previous month, data showed.
