THE Icons Shared Energy Co. participated in the events of the Saudi Conference of Energy Investments in the Renewable Energy 2017 that was held in Riyadh recently. It witnessed for the first time its strong attendance from the world’s investors and companies. The Saudi Minister of Energy Khalid Al-Falih submitted the futuristic vision of Saudi Arabia for renewable energy and scaled down the reliability on oil, by explaining details and offering investments over SR50 billion in all renewable energy fields, especially solar and wind energy.

Khaled El-Sharbatly, one of the Icons Shared Energy Co. founders, said “it was a pleasure for us to attend this conference and we’ve seen for the first time a strong move in the renewable energy markets and positive interactions from variable foreigner companies towards the Saudi vision. And, with God’s help, we will see greater interactions and a bright future in the fields of providing energy for consumers of the private sector using solar energy, due to the raise of electricity prices that Saudi Arabia had announced recently.”

He confirmed that his company has signed the conference‘s margin numerous deals and bargains with many Egyptian, Saudi and foreign companies, such as “sininfitine”, “dessert technologies” and “global products” which will contribute in supporting and applying the first renewable energy technologies on mosques, houses, schools and factories. He also emphasized the importance of Saudi-Egyptian relations in exchanging renewable energy technologies.
