The second Interior Design, Décor & Furniture Exhibition Oman, organised by Al Nimr Expo, in association with the Ministry of Housing, will be held from February 17–19 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Seeb.

The exhibition, to be created by Shaikha Aisha bint Khalfan al Siyabiyah, Chairperson of the Public Authority for Craft Industries (PACI, will offer a perfect platform for visitors to network with exhibitors showcasing innovative products and services.

The exhibition will feature more than 80 companies, with over 55 international companies from 10 different countries. The main focus will be on accessories, art, bathroom, décor, furniture and furnishings, interior design, kitchen, lightings, luxury life style, surfaces & finishes, textiles and carpets, commercial interiors and fit out, outdoor design & build, vastu & fengshui. This exhibition is a one stop solution which will meet visitor’s interior design, décor and furniture requirements.

Special highlights of IDF Oman will be the Italian Area managed by MEDINIT featuring over 35 Italian companies from diverse interior design sectors; in association with Alfardan Motors & Maserati. Presentation of an advanced Maserati will justify Italians as one of the finest and niche designers in the world.

The Pavilion will showcase a Unique Opera Project “Opera, a living taste” which is a cultural space that aims to promote the awareness of the excellence of Italian design and to discover the high quality and charm of “made to measure” made in Italy. The chosen Opera theme will show visitors; the colours, music and sounds of this wonderful world and complements them to visit the production companies for the knowledge of craft techniques admired from around the world. “Opera, a living taste”, realised in collaboration with Fondazione Arena Di Verona, will welcome visitors at the entrance of the Italy Pavilion. The Project has been created by Opera Architects Designers.

Paragon Arts is a non-profit educational, social and entertainment CSR initiative created by Paragon International and sponsored by The Wave, Muscat. Three lucky visitors will have chances to win fine art paintings by Paragon Arts participating artist while interacting with fine artists from around the world while enjoying a plethora of musical tunes played on rarely seen ethnic instruments by American musician Leta and her associate.
