Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman will open an important forum here on Monday for improving the quality of private and foreign education and promoting investment in the sector. The three-day event will be held at Taibah University’s conference hall.

Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Abdulkareem, director general of education in Madinah, thanked Prince Faisal for finding time in his busy itinerary to open the forum and for his continuous support for educational progress in the region.

“The forum aims at improving the quality of education at private and foreign schools in the region making use of expertise within the Kingdom and abroad and boost investment in the sector,” Al-Abdulkareem said.

He called upon Saudi businessmen and businesswomen to invest more in the private and foreign education sector.

“Education Minister Azzam Al-Dakhil has approved the topics to be discussed at the forum and emphasized his ministry’s support to improve the quality of education in the country,” the director general said.

The forum will be held under the theme “Toward educational excellence,” he said, adding that experts would present research papers during the forum’s various sessions. They will also conduct workshops.
