The QE Index advanced to reach at 11,305.87 levels on Sunday 9th Feb 2014. The index wavering in the green zone achieved 1.01 percent or 113.66 points for the session.
Market Cap indices ended the day in the green area.
QE sectors indices turned green in today’s trading session except Real Estate that dropped nominal 0.38 percent. Transport was the best performing sector of the day, surging 1.38 percent. Bank & Financial Services and Consumer Goods Sectors followed them with 1.2 percent each.
Masraf Al Rayan appeared at top among big players, rising by 4.26 percent. The company has also been able to lead the chart of major gainers’. Qatar Fuel Company advanced 1.41 percent.
The market breadth was strongly positive with 20 issues witnessing advances against 7 declining issues.
Vodafone Qatar led the chart of most active stocks, capturing 25.38 percent of the overall market volume.
Mannai Corporation led the chart of losers’, dropping 2.39 percent.
