KSE index closes on positive note at 5,814 pts - Al-Markaz

The Kuwait Market Price Index closed on a positive note at 5,814 points, a gain of 0.47%, a specialized economic report revealed here on Thursday.

The Weighted Index closed at 405.62, a gain of 0.8%. 51 stocks advanced while 35 declined, a report by Al-Markaz said.

The Services Index witnessed highest volume traded at 52.6 Mn and Banking Index witnessed the highest value traded at KD 11.6 Mn, it added.

Almost all indices were positive.Insurance Index was the top gainer, up 4. 41%. Foreign Index was the top loser, down 0.88%. Blue chips were positive too. NAT IND GROUP was the top gainer, up 4%, closing at KD 0.26, it concluded.
