The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended trading on Thursday with a decrease of 6.7 points to 6,955.5 points, while the weighted index lost 0.94 points, reaching 484.17 points.
Trades came to 3,010 transactions, worth about KD 31.8 million, and volume was at 152.9 million shares upon closing.
Five out of the eight sector indices were in green and three were red.
The biggest gainer was the non-Kuwaiti companies sector, which was up 63 points, followed by the food sector which gained 23.9 points, then the insurance sector which increased 20 points.
The banking sector was the biggest loser, dropping 103.5 points.
The leading high share was the stock of Al Masaken International Real Estate Development Co., while the biggest loss was suffered by the Ajwan Gulf Real Estate Co. stock.
Five most traded shares were those of Avaiation Lease And Finance Company, First Investment Company, Kuwait International Bank, Mena Holding Group, and Manazel Holding.
