Mawashi, Qatar's cutting-edge livestock facility, was recognized for its continued philanthropic efforts towards Aman, the Qatar Foundation for Child and Women Protection.
Mawashi's Managing Director, Mr Ahmad Nasser Sraiya Al Kaabi was handed a certificate of appreciation for his efforts to reach out to the organization with food supplies as a means to alleviate the needs of the less privileged families in Qatar.

Established in November 2002, the Qatar Foundation for Child and Women Protection is a private institution that acts in the public interest of protecting victims of domestic and social violence. The foundation is committed to the principles and teachings of Shari'a, the Qatari Constitution and international agreements and conventions on the rights of children and women.
The foundation aims at spearheading awareness and cultural programmes in collaboration with relevant authorities in the country and abroad, providing social and legal consultations as well as legal assistance to victims, collecting information on cases of abuse and violence and offering shelter to victims in addition to a host of integrated care services for treatment and rehabilitation.
Mawashi has recently bagged another global accolade at the 16th International Star for Leadership in Quality Convention at Paris, France for being an exemplar in quality and excellence in service.
