Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) introduces information security services that contribute significantly in preventing cyber-attacks such as those happened in the kingdom last weekend. These services protect the IT infrastructure for both government and private sectors and hinder hacking.
Mobily had developed an integrated center for managed security services, which provides various cloud security services and security operation center. These cloud security solutions are provided as per global standards through Mobily’s partnership with IBM in establishing information security operation center; this center manages the network security machines, monitors and analyzes the security record, discovers and reports the weakness points.
Engineer Ismail AlGhamdi, Mobily’s CBO, said Today Mobily affirms its leadership role for the Managed and Cloud based security services and is proud to serve all business segments in Saudi Arabia including but not limited to government, financial, health, oil & gas and education. The recent increased rate of security threats had raised the awareness for security protection and management. “We at Mobily always strive to understand the needs of our customers in business sector and our managed security services will significantly contribute to protect enterprises’ IT infrastructures in the kingdom.”
Meanwhile, Mobily introduces other services in its cloud security portfolio, which includes enterprise web security, emails security protection, anti-cyber-attacks. To improve the data base security, Mobily had established its security center inside its data centers in the kingdom; supported with experienced employees. In addition, Mobily is eager to improve the life cycle of information security management through applying Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) technology.
A recent study indicates that the Kingdom witnessed about 60 million cyber-attacks during the last year, which regarded the highest rate of electronic attacks in the region and increase the demand on the security services.
