The MSM 30 Index ended on a flat note at 7102.77 points, marginally up by 0.03 per cent. MSM Shariah Index closed at 1130.35 points, marginally up by 0.05 per cent.
Al Sharqiya Investment was the most active in terms of volume as well as turnover. National Gas was the top gainer and closed up by 9.66 per cent, while Dhofar Cattlefeed was the top loser and closed down by 10 per cent.
A total number of 1844 trades were executed in yesterday's trading session generating turnover of OMR9.81 million with over 20.77 million shares traded.
Out of 61 traded stocks, 22 advanced, 19 declined and 20 were unchanged. Foreign investors were net buyers for OMR747,000 while GCC and Arab investors were net sellers for OMR518,000 followed by Omani investors for OMR229,000 worth of shares.
Financial Sector Index was down by 0.21 per cent at 8385.76 points.
