The Muscat Securities Market (MSM) on Wednesday revised the annual constituents of the bourse's general index (MSM 30), which will be effective from July 1.
The companies that are taken out from the basket are Al Hassan Engineering and Jazeira Services, while the firms that are included in the index are Sembcorp Salalah and Sharqiya Investment Holding.
The main constituents of MSM 30 Index include Bank Muscat, National Bank of Oman, ahlibank, Bank Sohar, BankDhofar, HSBC Bank Oman, Ominvest, ONIC Holding, Al Anwar Holding, Gulf Investment Services and Al Madina Investment. From the industrial sector, the major constituents are Oman Cement, Raysut Cement, Al Anwar Ceramics, Galfar Engineering, Oman Cables and National Aluminium.
