Nifty above 5300; Tata Motors, IDFC, Axis Bank up

07/08/2012 11:25 AST  The Economic Times

The Nifty is rangebound with a positive bias in line with Asian peers. Technology, auto, healthcare and realty led the upmove while oil & gas and FMCG edged lower.

The trend seems mildly positive, but traders should be cautious in their approach as a reversal in the trend cannot be ruled out, according to analysts.

At 09:45 a.m., the 50-share NSE index was at 5,303.15, up 20.60 points or 0.39 per cent. It has touched a high of 5,303.25 and a low of 5,281.65 today.

The Sensex was at 17,476.46, up 63.50 points or 0.36 per cent. It has touched a high of 17,481.78 and a low of 17,417.92 today.
