The 50-share Nifty index is expected to open soft on Friday tracking muted Asian markets while investors will keep a close eye on Reliance Industries which will report its quarterly results later today.
According to an ET Now poll, the company's net profit for the quarter is likely to be around Rs 4250 crore, down 24.9 per cent YoY from Rs 5561 crore.
