Omani Products Exhibition will be held at Oman International Exhibition Centre in Sohar from March 10 to 12. The opening ceremony will be patronised over by Sheikh Muhanna bin Saif Al Lamki, governor of Al Batinah North.

The event is a part of a series of exhibitions of the Omani Products Campaign 'Omani 2015', the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE), in cooperation with Silver Star Corporation.

Omani Products Exhibition in Sohar aims at offering a perfect gateway to reach to highly potential markets in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) area. The event aims at showcasing quality machinery, products, services and technology of international standard at competitive prices.

PEIE aspires through this exhibition to disseminate awareness on high quality national products and their ability to compete locally and abroad simultaneously. The 'Omani' campaign encourages consumers, whether individuals or institutions, to purchase local products and services, and eventually support the national economy and generate loyalty to locally manufactured products and services.

The campaign of promoting locally manufactured products is a national initiative designed to encourage consumers and organisations to buy Oman made goods and services wherever possible, promote national pride in the manufacturing industry and highlight the economic importance of buying Oman made products.
