Ooredoo and Cisco recently hosted a business event to demonstrate the enhanced range of cloud solutions and services available for companies in Qatar. The event, which highlighted the ways that companies can deploy cloud solutions across their operations, was attended by 75 representatives of different companies, reflecting the growing demand for the scalability and performance of cloud services.

Ooredoo announced a range of long-term strategic agreements with Cisco in February, including the launch of Cisco’s Virtual-Managed-Services (VMS) suite, and the event was an important opportunity for companies to learn more about the progressive partnership.

It included a live demo of Ooredoo’s Cloud Voice and Collaboration Suite, which deploys Cisco technology on the Ooredoo Supernet to provide immersive video conferencing, instant messaging, intelligent voicemail, and many other features.

Yousuf Abdulla Al Kubaisi, Chief Operating Officer, Ooredoo Qatar, said: “Our solutions enable businesses to grow, and through events like this we can show Qatar’s top executives the latest and most innovative products and services. We are working hard to expand our portfolio of cloud services, as part of our vision to become the leading integrated ICT provider in Qatar and the region, and transform the depth and range of ICT services we offer.”
