The Qatar Exchange was down on Wednesday 16.75 points or 0.20% to 8,493.12 points from the previous closing of 8,509.87 . The volume of shares traded down to 7,424,236 from 7,929,238 on Tuesday, and the value of shares fell to QR217,600,493.43 from QR304,898,303.99 Tuesday. Among the top losers were Masref Al Rayan whose share dropped by 0.44% to QR22.65, Qatar Electricity & Water lost 1.11% to QR142.40, Qatar Navigation fell 1.51% to QR84.60, United Dev. Company lost 0.49% to QR22.36 and Al-Khalij Holding was down 1.28% to QR16.98. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector added 5.85 points while the Qatar industrial sector dropped 15.48 points and the Services sector lost 33.24 points.
