The Qatar Stock Exchange index advanced slightly by 3.81 points (0.03%) when the bourse closed at 11,521.29 points here yesterday.
The market capitalisation decreased slightly to QR623.51bn from QR623.94bn registered on Sunday.
The traded value yesterday increased to QR360.08mn with a volume of 7,626,605 shares from 5,032 transactions compared to QR214.47mn with a volume of 4,876,984 shares from 3,633 transactions on Sunday.
Indices of four sectors declined while three gained today.
Transport index dropped the most, down -1.02% to 2,4515.02 points.
Telecoms dropped -0.52% (1,312.75 points), consumer goods and service -0.30% (6,836.09 points), banks and financial services dropped -0.05% (3,116.57 points).
Insurance sector index gained +1.20% (4,149.95 points), industries gained +0.29% (3,736.37 points) and real estate gained slightly +0.01% (2,37.38 points).
From the 43 listed companies on the QSE, shares of 39 saw trading yesterday. From these 20 gained, 16 declined and three remained unchanged.
