Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Thursday adding 50.05 points (0.39 percent) to advance to 12,727.64 points from 12,677.59 on Wednesday.
The volume of the shares traded fell to 21,920,066 from 27,574,717 on Wednesday and the value of shares decreased to QR801,381,012.86 from QR1,107,872,113.26 Wednesday.
Among the top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 2.47 percent to QR182.40, Barwa Real Estate gained 1.73 percent to QR38.15, Al khalij Commercial Bank added 1.35 percent to QR22.60 and Al Ahli Bank up by 1.92 percent to QR53.00.
