Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 44.98 points (-0.43%) when the bourse closed trading at 10,416.83 points Wednesday.
The volume of shares traded decreased to 11,553,885 from 15,697,196 on Tuesday and the value of shares also decreased QR289,370,504.11 from QR391,223,685.90 on Tuesday.
From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 41 saw trading today. From these 15 gained and 21 companies closed lower today, remained five companies unchanged.
Indices of five sectors ended in green and remained two sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index dropped -0.43% to 17,264.40 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index lost -0.20% to 4,139.92 points and QSE All Share Index decreased -0.32% to 2,935.27 points.
