DOHA: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 108.01 points, or 0.92 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 11,787.71 points Tuesday.
The daily turnover increased to QR200m with a volume of 3,069,243 shares from 3,007 deals compared to QR175.49m with a volume of 3,069,243 shares from 3,076 deals on Monday.
Indices of six sectors ended in green and one in red today.
Real estate index gained today, 1.32 percent to 2,682.48 points. Industries index gained 0.44 percent to 3,733.58 points, while Telecoms index dropped 0.74 percent to 1,066.42 points.
QSE Total Return Index improved to 0.92 percent to 18,322.31 points, QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index added 0.83 percent to 4,579.14 points and QSE All Share Index increased 0.76 percent to 3,148.4 points.
Of the 43 companies listed on QSE, investors exchanged shares of 41. Of them, 27 gained, 10 went down, four unchanged.
