Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 91.42 points or +0.90% when the bourse closed trading at 10,291.33 points Wednesday.
The daily turnover today declined to QR 444.58 Million with a volume of 19,422,168 shares from 6,386 deals compared to QR 456.80 Million with a volume of 16,770,441 shares from 6,691 deals on Tuesday.
From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 38 saw trading today. From these 20 gained, 14 closed lower and four remained unchanged.
Barring consumer goods and services index which dropped -0.34%, indices of all other sectors ended in the green today. Telecoms gained the most today, up +1.41% to 1,110.9 points.
QSE Total Return Index gained -1.18% to 16,455.05 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained +1.22% to 3,877.5 points and QSE All Share Index gained +1.02% to 2,799.9 points.
