Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index gained 90.96 points, or 1.02 percent, when the bourse closed trading yesterday at 8,995.12 points.
The volume of shares traded increased to 8.27 million from 5.14 million on Sunday and the value of shares also increased QR337.73m from QR115.62m on Sunday. Out of the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 39 saw trading yesterday. Of these 26 gained; 11 companies closed lower, and two remained unchanged, reports QNA.
Indices of five sectors ended in green and remaining two sectors ended in red. QSE Total Return Index gained 1.02 to 15,084.28 points.
QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index added 0.76 percent to 3.557.73 points and QSE All Share Index increased 0.75 percent to 2,555.57 points.
