Yonhap reported that South Korea's total goods and services output rose 13.6% YoY in 2010, fueled by steady economic expansion.

The Bank of Korea's annual supply and demand data showed overall that output reached KRW 3,733.1 trillion, up from KRW 3,286.7 trillion for the year before. The numbers encompass all domestic goods production and imports.

Of the total, 83.7% or KRW 3,124.0 trillion came from domestic output with imports making up the rest at KRW 609.1 trillion.

The latest report also showed the country's manufacturing sector output totaled KRW 1,569.8 trillion or 50.2% of total production in 2010, up from 49.6% in 2009. The increase marks the first time in 22 years manufacturing has made up more than half the country's economic output. In 1988, manufacturing accounted for 52.7% of all goods produced in the country.
