Spain's producer price inflation rose to 3.2 percent annually in May from 3 percent in April, the statistical office INE said Monday.
On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 0.1 percent, but slower than the 0.8 percent decline logged in April.
Annual growth in consumer goods remained at 1.6 percent. Likewise, increases in capital goods and intermediate goods held steady at 0.7 percent and 1 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, producer prices for consumer durable goods rose at a slower pace of 1.2 percent after climbing 1.4 percent. Energy inflation accelerated to 9.3 percent from 8.4 percent in the prior month.
