11/05/2012 08:54 AST  Gulf Daily News

Turk Heavy Transport (THT) was contracted by Nass Industrial Services to transport a 190-tonne, 30-metre-long coke cooler for Alba's calcine coke plant.

The vessel was received at Khalifa Bin Salman Port, from Germany, and was moved and delivered by THT to the plant in Sitra.

A 16-axle hydraulic lowbed was used to transport the cargo placed on turntables fixed on it.

The coke cooler was transported to the site and placed in storage.

The old coke cooler was taken from its location to a designated area at the site and the new one was put into the required position.
