Trading up on DFM in early trading

Trading on Dubai Financial Market (DFM) remains positive in the morning session on Sunday. At 10.17am, the benchmark index was at 1,414.62, up 62.38 points or 4.61 per cent, with all sectoral indices posting gains.

All the 17 stocks being traded were in the green.

Major gainers included Deyaar (9.52 per cent), Emaar (7.47 per cent), Arabtec (6.9 per cent), UPP (6.72 per cent) among others.

Year-to-date DFM is down by around 15 per cent owing to the spate of disturbances spread across the MENA region, drifting investors away.

Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) was also trading up. At 10.21am, the index was at 2,546.37, up 16.55 points or 0.65 per cent.
