The UAE trade mission to the Czech and Slovak Republics, headed by Sultan Al Mansouri, UAE Minister of Economy, concluded successfully with the organization of the UAE-Slovakia Business Forum in the Slovak capital Bratislava and a visit to one of the world's most advanced flying car manufacturing company, Aermobil.
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry -organized UAE trade mission from April 20 to 24 ended with the establishment of the Czech Business Council, under the umbrella of the Chamber, as well as the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between by the S.S. Lootah Group and Eden Group, a leading Czech company, for cooperation in healthcare and medical tourism.
In his speech during the UAE-Slovakia Business Forum, Hamad Buamim, President and CEO, Dubai Chamber, said the Chamber is seeking to strengthen economic cooperation with Slovakia, which is one the world's largest automobile manufacturing centres and is well-known for its extensive experience in the field of Information Communication Technology which can be utilized in the field of security for electronic banking and smart services.
Buamim pointed out that the UAE delegations' visit to Aermobil company, which produces the world's most advanced flying car, came under the Chamber 's commitment to support innovation while attracting the world's leading innovative companies to Dubai, as this company will soon begin commercial production of the car and is looking forward to make Dubai as a center for its future operations in the region, which clearly reflects Dubai attractiveness to innovative global companies, he said.
The President and CEO of Dubai Chamber, also said that as part of its efforts to support the process of growth and development in Dubai, the Chamber is committed to attract leading global companies, especially those from innovative fields, in addition to promoting and strengthening the competitiveness of UAE companies in the Slovak and Czech markets.
Buamim also stressed on the importance of coordinating efforts to work jointly in the areas of common interests while highlighting promising investment opportunities for UAE companies in Slovakia and their counterparts in Dubai.
