• The Saudi central bank has decided to keep its key interest rates unchanged in June. The SAMA held its overnight reverse repo rate at 0.25%, and benchmark repurchase rate at 2%.
• International Polymers Co., an affiliate of Saudi International Petrochemical, has signed for an Islamic loan of SAR 1.4bn ($375mn) with four local banks to help finance a plant now under construction in Jubail.
• Etisalat Nigeria, 40% owned by Etisalat, is committed to spending $1bn on its telecom infrastructure over the next 2 years, its chief executive said.
