Qatar Government Said to Sell a Benchmark-Sized Sukuk in Weeks- Qatar, is likely to sell a benchmark-sized Islamic bond in the next three weeks before the beginning of Ramadan. The government aims to set benchmark yields for sukuk and will use the money for its budget. A sale is likely before the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, which is likely to start later in July, they said. The issue will be part of an Islamic bond program aims to raise about $4 billion.
