Nomura has upgraded Vodafone Qatar to buy, from neutral rating. “It is very early days for Vodafone Qatar, but there is little doubt the company has had a good start in terms of headline numbers,” said analyst Martin Mabbutt, adding it had many attractions including the possibility to eat into a highly profitable monopoly in one of the richest and fastest growing markets in the world backed by the experience of the global Vodafone Group.
