The mainlands key stock index rose 0.85 percent to a fresh three-month closing high, climbing for a fifth session with shares of
Shanghai-based firms gaining as details emerged about a Disney theme park in the city.
The Shanghai Composite Index ended at 3,155.053 points.
Turnover remained active at 155 billion yuan (HK$175.93 billion), little changed from Wednesdays 154 billion yuan.
The market drew support from comments by officials reaffirming Chinas pro-growth policy stance even as the pace of recovery gathers steam.
