Hang Seng Index closes 0.6pc lower

Hong Kong stocks ended down 0.63 percent, as investors dumped shares of property companies, but mainland developer Evergrande Real Estate (3333) gained on its debut.
The Hang Seng Index closed down 135.69 points at 21,479.08, retreating from a 1.76 percent gain on Wednesday.
The China Enterprises Index of top locally listed mainland Chinese stocks fell 0.19 percent to 12,805.26.
Turnover was HK$60.77 billion.
Evergrande ended up 34.3 percent, the second company to post gains on its first day of trading in Hong Kong this week.
