Asian markets end +ve; Hang Seng up 184pts  Discuss

The Hang Seng added 184 points to 22,384. The Nikkei advanced 100 points to 10,337.

The Shanghai Composite increased 46 points or 1.5% to 3,084.

The Seoul Composite Index and the Taiwan Weighted Index were marginally up at 1,659 and 7,753, respectively.

The Straits Times was flat at 2,711. _________________________________________________ (Updated at 1114hrs)

Asian markets have continued to trade in the positive today.

The Hang Seng has added 176 points to 22,377. The Nikkei has advanced 79 points to 10,316.

The Shanghai Composite has moved up 18 points to 3,056. The Straits Times, Seoul Composite and Taiwan Weighted are flat. _________________________________________________ (Updated at 0923 hrs)

The Asian markets have opened on a flat note.

The Hang Seng has advanced 162 points to 22,363. The Nikkei has added 111 points or 1% to 10,346.

The Shanghai Composite has increased 28 points to 3,066.

The Straits Times, the Seoul Composite and the Taiwan Weighted Index are marginally up at 2,717, 1,655 and 7,781, respectively.
