The Business Times
A lacklustre session this morning ended with the Straits Times Index dropping 13.10 points to 2,635.54 and the broad market recording only 76 rises versus 259 falls excluding derivatives.
Turnover excluding foreign currency issues was a relatively low $527 million and was said to have been largely generated by programme traders and house accounts. The jittery US market was said to be the main culprit.
