Together with the largest China sourcing platform, the Dubai edition of China Homelife exhibition on Dec. 11-13 at Dubai Exhibition and Convention Centre, is conducting a conference on the opportunities to buy and build factories locally and highlight the effectiveness of franchising. They will focus on their 360 degree approach to machinery and production line solutions, technology integration systems as well as supplier resources which tackle the specific requirements of customers across the world in a wide range of manufacturing sectors.

Also present at the conference will be Leon Zhu, General Manager Overseas Business of DE&E Appliances, specializing in high-end kitchen appliances and Feng Jili, Founder and Chairman Morakot Electric Manufacturing Co., known for their electric bikes. In July 2018, on invitation from President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President Xi visited the UAE and a strategic partnership was established that covers several areas including political, economic, technology, education, renewable energy and water, as well as cultural ties. According to the Ministry of Economy report, trade exchange between UAE and China in 2017 grew 15.1 percent over 2016. Non-oil foreign trade exchange between the UAE and China rose to AED195.8 billion in 2017 compared to AED169bn in 2016.

“The Middle East is now forming a vital part of China’s trade strategy. As the largest China sourcing platform for the region, we are committed to raising the expectations of exhibitors and our visitors. The inclusion of specialized conferences this year enables us to highlight some of the trending topics such as manufacturing and franchising with highly qualified speakers. Emphasis will be laid on the technical, quality as well as the after sales levels that the Chinese companies are bringing to the table. We are certain that these interactions will pave the way for more companies starting businesses locally with the knowledge and experience in their sectors,” said, Binu Pillai, Chief Operating Officer, MEOrient Foreign Trade.
