UAE-based telecommunications giant Etisalat Group has posted consolidated net profit of Dh4.3 billion ($1.17 billion) for the first half (H1) of 2018 representing a six per cent increase year over year.
The Group’s consolidated revenues for first half of 2018 amounted to Dh26.2 billion representing 4 per cent increase year over year.
The Group’s second quarter (Q2) consolidated revenues amounted to Dh13.1 billion representing 2 per cent increase comparing to Q2 2017, while net profit during the period amounted to Dh2.2 billion representing 12.4 per cent increase comparing to Q2 2017.
The company’s subscriber base reached 144 million during H1 representing year on year increase of 4 per cent.
The company has announced distribution of interim dividend for the first half of the fiscal year 2018 of 40 fils per share.
