The Qatar Exchange continued stepping its way lower in the red territory on Sunday 30th Dec 2012. The index dropping 10.85 points or 0.14 percent reached at 8,300.37 levels.
Micro Cap, Med Cap and Large Cap indices ended the session in red zone.
Decliners outnumbered the advancers with a margin of 14 to 23 and the price of 3 companies remained unchanged.
Most of the QE sectors indices ended the session in red territory. Banks & Financial Service sector performed worst by dropping 0.41 percent. Transportation and Consumer Goods followed it with 0.3 percent each.
Only Insurance sector advanced by 1.25 percent.
Seven out of the top ten market cap companies landed in the red zone. Commercial Bank of Qatar performed worst amongst the heavy weights, going down by 0.43 percent.
Doha Insurance Company led the chart of gainers’, rising by 2.46 percent. While, Al Ahli Bank of Qatar topped the chart of losers, pairing 4.92 percent.
QE Total Volume set sold about 2.45 million shares in today’s trading session.
