Shares on Bursa Malaysia extended earlier gains at mid-morning, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) trading above the 1,800-point level, lifted by persistent buying interest.
At 11.02am, the benchmark index FBM KLCI stood at 1,804.72, rising 6.82 points after hovering between 1,797.84 and 1,805.58.
DiGi.Com, which performed well in its FY13, was the biggest contributor to the rise of composite index with 2.11 points. The telco's share soared 15 sen to RM5.00 with 10.556 million lots transacted.
