The Quality Improvement Committee at Raysut Industrial Estate held its first meeting chaired by Eng. Hamad Al Qasabi, Director General of the estate and the committee’s chairman.

The meeting was attended by a number of CEOs of companies and factories investing in the estate, in addition to heads of service providers. The meeting discussed the current challenges facing investors in Raysut Industrial Estate, which falls under the umbrella of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates – Madayn.

Additionally, the meeting highlighted the significance of involving the investing companies to support social responsibility initiatives, generate more employment opportunities for Omanis, offer opportunities for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and give priority to the Omani entrepreneurs. On their part, the attending companies and factories raised their recommendations to improve the quality of the services provided in the estate.

The committee was formed in line with the efforts undertaken by Madayn to advance performance and raise efficiency in all its industrial estates. The committee has the responsibility to undertake efforts to improve the quality of the services provided in the estate, raise the level of performance through cooperation between the estate’s management and investors, enhance the value addition of the estate and increase its contribution to the national economy, as well as create more investment and employment opportunities.
